CPS Resources for Outreach to Professionals Updated: May 4, 2011 The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the National Child Passenger Safety Board are pleased to provide "Making a Difference in Child Passenger Safety" awareness tools to support the many CPS Technicians who volunteer their time to promote occupant protection. We hope you will share these guides with your colleagues to increase their awareness of child passenger safety and the actions they can take to keep children safe when they ride in motor vehicles. The guides, adapted from the upcoming ”Operation Kids — Next Generation” Child Passenger Safety basic awareness class materials, identify some basic questions professionals can apply to increase the correct use of child seats.
