How to Use the National Digital Car Seat Check Form Table Tool (2 Min.)

Collect Your Car Seat Check Data Electronically and Put it to Use

Nationally certified child passenger safety technicians and instructors can input data collected at car seat check events into the National Digital Car Seat Check Form (NDCF) and then use that data to monitor trends and highlight issues encountered in the field.

Work in Progress

On Oct. 1, 2020, the NDCF program team launched an updated system, including:

  • New Clean Data Dashboards
  • Skip Patterns consistent across all check form platforms
  • Incorporated feedback from Child Passenger Safety Technicians

Our thanks to AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for their support in making this system update and enhanced data analysis possible. We also wish to thank Westat and Tennessee Tech University iCube, along with Ms. Jennifer Booge for Field Training and all of the nationally certified child passenger safety technicians and instructors who contributed to the October 2020 updates. This collaborative effort reinforces that the NDCF is a resource developed by technicians for technicians!
