Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification Training
This standardized curriculum provides in-depth training on the correct use of vehicle occupant protection systems, car seats and booster seats. Successful completion results in U.S. certification as a Child Passenger Safety Technician for two years. Fee-based.
There are two delivery formats for the training:
- In-person Course: Combines classroom instruction and hands-on activities in a classroom setting over a 3-4 day period. Find an in-person course.
- Hybrid Course: Combines self-paced online learning with virtual and in-person sessions typically over a 1-2 month period. Find a hybrid course.
CPST Renewal Testing Course
Designed for Child Passenger Safety Technicians whose certification is expired for less than one year. Consists of written quiz and skills evaluations delivered in one full day.
