All U.S. certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians can create a FREE National Digital Car Seat Check Form account.

Follow These Simple Steps to Create an Account

  1. Visit http://www.carseatcheckform.org/
  2. Click on “Create New Account” and complete required information.
  3. The is a graphic illustration of what a Child Passenger Safety Technician card looks like.Upload a copy of your updated wallet card found in individual Safe Kids online certification profiles with new account request and upon recertification. Note: Other forms of certification verification will not be accepted.
  4. Once approved, new NDCF account holders will be sent an email containing a username and password. The username and password must be changed on initial login.

Allow 1 to 3 business days for your new account to be approved and activated.

Pro Tips

CPSTs must plan ahead to ensure their account has been approved prior to using the NDCF at a car seat check event.

Technicians are strongly encouraged to practice using the NDCF prior to their first event:

  • Option 1: Select “practice” from the state dropdown menu
  • Option 2: Download the NDCF Training App in your app store by searching “NDCF Training” – look for this icon:
